Art is the constant in my life.
It is the interplay of my mind, heart, and soul as a personal creative statement.
My work is about wholeness, our wholeness, our connection.
I want to show that we are more similar than different.
I want to explore the process of life as I move through it.
My painting is about honesty and observation, a record of life.
It is about faith, taking risks, and commitment.
I am primarily a figurative artist.
I am drawn to the human figure because of the infinite beauty in all of its stages.
When I paint portraits I try to find the essence that makes that person unique.
In my more personal or narrative pieces, I use the figure and the implicit interaction of the figures to tell a story.
By painting I realize the beauty and complexity of our human experience.
